Build the technical and practical knowledge to effectively communicate design concepts and elements to technicians. Learn to be your own technician if there’s no crew.

Script & Scene Analysis

Discover the art of lighting design in theatre, encompassing techniques to establish setting, time, and location, exploring the qualities of light for mood and storytelling, mastering script analysis scene by scene, and drawing inspiration from photos and art.

Utilizing the Qualities of Light in Design

Unify your skills with advanced programming and effects, including haze/fog and moving lights, while also honing portfolio-building techniques and formatting a Technical Theatre Resume for professional success.
