Are you an artist with a voice that needs to be heard?
Join us this August at Ujamaa Community Bookstore for a FREE Monodrama Intensive where you’ll learn how to build your own one-person show from scratch guided by Dr. Austin Dean Ashford!
This 2-week intensive is:
Taught straight from Dr. Ashford’s book Standing Solo

Open to performers and beginners with something
to say Capped off with a final student showcase

The Naptown African American Theatre Collective is proud to bring its Education for All program to the Indianapolis community!

The program, supported by the 16 Tech Community Corporation was a six-month program offering free educational class sessions on theatre education and business in the arts for our 2024-2025 season, Cementing Our Legacy!

Classes included Wig Design, Costume Design, Lighting Design, Set Design, Producing, and the Business of Show.
